I have rather a lot of shoes but it because of different activities, and from smart to casual plus all those activities need shoes to match the outfits, plus the additions of colours.
However I would not spend the prices quoted on those shoes although they are beautiful that is really throwing money down the drain in my opinion.
I did some exchange rate calculations and the top ten prices are what my mother used to pay for shoes and although only kids at the time my brother,sister and I were horrified yet father just used to accept it and foot (no pun intended) the bill.
What she spends now on shoes I do not know as we are continents apart but would imagine just as high.

I would have to say some women are crazy when it comes to shoes. I am glad my wife only has a few pairs. At least she isn't addicted. I have never figured out why women are willing to wear such uncomfortable high heels just for looks. It seems like it would do a horrible number on your feet. I bought my first car for less than these shoes and it ran fine.
I'd like to think I'm worth it, LOL, but I'd have a hard time justifying the price tags! Love the info, though...

I love shoes as well! The more complex they appear, the better...I believe that every woman deserves to own at least one pair of heels in every shade and material in order to suit every outfit. The same goes for sandals and flats! Shoes are just as important as handbags...people spend thousands for handbags, so hundreds for shoes is a bargain. Shoes make statements -- period.

Wow. I really don't know how people could spend so much money on shoes! I debate over a pair of $50 shoes at DSW - can't think of dropping down a month's worth of rent for a pair.
