What Kind of Dog is Boo
From the time those video were watched on Youtube onwards, people started asking about the breed of this very cute puppy. Well, Boo is a Pomeranian with an extreme and unique hairstyle!. Definitely, the owner had taste, but I wonder whether it is cruelty to animals or not. What do you think? You may want to read about the Pomeranian breed a little more to understand them. Anyway, they are one of the cutest dog breed and make nice videos and photos whether you trim their coat or not.

He is not a full bred pomeranian, he looks like a mix of chow chow judging by his paws and his body. SO CUTE NONETHELESS!

Anna, it's IMPOSSIBLE for a pomeranian and a chow to breed. you have no clue about the pomeranian or their hair. the pom is a double coated dog, and if you have them groomed professionally on a regular basis their hair can get massively thick, all this cut is, is a lion cut w/out the body being completely shaved short. it's cut short enough and groomed enough that the hair puffs out. just as you'd see with another poofy breed (the bichon frise- which look like cotton balls when show groomed). i breed poms.

How is getting a dog groomed animal cruelty? Boo's haircut is not 'extreme'..it's a very typical hairstyle for Pom's called a Teddy Bear cut. Because Boo's undercoat is so full he ends up looking super fluffy.
I really want a dog like Boo. I have his book and I just love him. I just want to know how much a pom costs in a regular pet shop and how much his hair cut would cost in like a porfessional grooming salon, and what it would cost in like a regular pet store please! I just want a dog.

I think Boo is so cute! I am fixin to purchase a pom, I have wanted one for so long, but I am so OCD and was worried about the shedding. My daughter, danielle showed me pic of Boo, I made my mind up immediately. I am so gonna have it's fur cut in the Teddy Bear cut or the Lion Cut, which is long around the face, body cut short like Boo and a long tail, besides Boo's cut the Lion cut is the cutesy and so easy to maintain. My breeder informed me that if you want a dog that does not shed as much she breeds Yorkies and Poms, called Yorkiepom I can't wait to see one. She has been breeding these two dogs for 18 years and says they are very popular. As far as Boo, I think he is definitely the cutesy dog I have ever seen!!! Congrats to the breeder and the owner, kudos to you both!!!! Love it!!!

I own a pom and i say its not cruel because if they were wild they would have to look for their food and water and they would soon die out.
Boo is the Cutest Dog in the world so why wouldnt you give your pom an extreme hairdo like boo's. That dog is loved by people all over the world and its not animal cruelty to amp up your baby dog! I have a pom puppy and for her first haircut...here comes the booism. Love Roxy 2 death and will love her 10x more with her new hair! GO BOO!!!

I LOVE BOO SO MUCH HE IS SO CUTE!!!! But it kind of lowers the other dogs' self-esteems because they are not the cutest dog in the world. I do though think Boo is the cutest pomeranian but its not fair so say he's the cutest dog in the world. I love my dogs and they are both so adorable!!! And I don't think its cruelty to cut a dog's fur like that .... its the same as humans getting a haircut... its not animal cruelty PEOPLE its making your dog look FABULOUS!!!!

It is NOT cruel to have a Pomeranian's hair cut! I had a Pomeranian and I had it's hair cut every Summer, It was a lot cooler on him and his hair didn't mat up as much! My God there is nothing cruel about it!

You know not from what you speak. What makes you think it is impossible? I have a 4 year old chowpom who is the cutest pup ever. And she has been bred once - successfully I might add - bearing 3 pups.

I think Boo is very cute! It makes me want to get my party Pom a hair cut like this. The hair cut is a great idea because it is easier to take care of and the dog seems to be happy . It is bad when there hair gets in tangles and they get upset when u have to brush it or cut it out.
